Migrant Health Issues: MoH Union Minister meets IOM Head

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win received a delegation led by Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mr. Dragan Aleksoski at the Ministry, Friday and discussed cooperative matters.

At the meeting, they exchanged views on plans to cooperate in COVID-19 vaccination to Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand and migrant workers at the entry/exist gates, prevention and treatment of infectious diseases such as tuberculosis and malaria for migrant workers returning from border areas, cooperation in maternal and child healthcare services and more cooperation in health care of trafficked women.
