23rd MTCPAC (State Level): Rakhine State organizes awarding ceremony

Rakhine State held awarding ceremony of the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (State Level) at the U Oattama hall in Sittway on Friday and presented a total of 78 medals to the winners.

The ceremony was opened by the entertainment of Rakhine State cultural troupe. Later, Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr Aung Kyaw Min presented cash awards and certificates of honour to the judges and winners in the Kabyar Lut dance competition.

The Commander of Western Command, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, senior military officials and the state cabinet members presented cash award and certificates of honour to the winners in the respective categories.

The Rakhine State Cultural troupe who will participate in the cultural performing arts competition (central level) entertained with Mon traditional Yein dance that is set for the competition.

The winners and the Yein Troupes performed the traditional song. Rakhine State Level Cultural Performing Arts Competition was held from 12th to 16th September and 136 contestants participated in the respective categories of the competition.
