Providing assistance: Foodstuff and masks provided to grass-roots in Saku

With the arrangement of Magway Region Government and the contribution of well-wishers from Minbu (Saku) Township, the basic foodstuff was provided to grass-root people in Saku.

The provision ceremony was held at Shwe Pan Yone monastery in Saku on Thursday and Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, the Regional Ministers and well-wishers attended the ceremony and provided foodstuff and face masks to the locals.

At the event, the Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin explained about the arrangement of the Regional government and the contribution of well-wishers for the donation.

Magway Region Chief Minister and party provided rice, onion, edible oil, bean, salt and masks for 1000 grass-root households in Saku.

Later, the Chief Minister and party inspected construction of No.2 ward administrator office in Saka and gave necessary instruction. On arrival at Saku People’s Hospital, the Chief Minister and party comforted patients who are receiving medical treatments and provided cash and nutritious food.

From there, they proceeded to Kaing Taw Lay Advanced Agricultural Model Field of a local farmer and looked into arrangement for getting irrigated water to the mechanized farm and instructed the needs.
