Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during his evening video address on Friday Ukraine has been allocated 5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance from the European Union. He also commented on the new visa restrictions for Russian citizens that will be implemented on Monday, making it more difficult for them to travel as tourists around the EU.

"This is the protection of Europe, it will make it difficult for those who do not want to change anything," Zelenskyy said. He also said that Ukrainian Armed Forces had liberated and taken control of more than 30 settlements in the Kharkiv region.
