





Queen Elizabeth II, Britain's longest-reigning monarch, died Thursday at the age of 96 after 70 years on the throne. Leaders around the world sent message of condolences for the death of Her Majesty.
The European Parliament President and Cyprus President presented their condolences to the United Kingdom on Friday after the passing of Queen. The Ukraine President also sent his condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth in his Thursday's address.
Earlier on Friday The President of China sent message of condolence to Charles III, the new British King, expressing "sincere sympathies" to the royal families, the UK government and people. The German Chancellor also expressed his condolences over the death of Queen Elizabeth.
The President of International Olympic Committee also paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, and led a minute's silence at the Executive Board meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland. In Rome, people paused at the gates of the British Embassy, where the flag flew at half-staff and flowers were left with tributes written in English and Italian.
