SAC Chairman in Russia: Meeting with Primorsky Governor and Head of Buryatia

Chairman of the State Administration Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met Governor of Primorsky Krai Mr. Oleg Nikolaevich Kozhemyako in Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) Campus in Vladivostok on Thursday.

They discussed matters on cooperation in trade, economy and export and import sectors, opening of Myanmar Consul General Office and Business Centre in Vladivostok, sending of scholars from Myanmar, participation of Myanmar youths in the exchange program, conducting study tour for the officials from agriculture and livestock sector, direct trading and currency flow.

In the evening, the Prime Minister and delegation members viewed the displays of booths by the Republic of Buryatia at the 7th Eastern Economic Forum-2022.

The officials curated around the booths on traditional garment, industry, handicrafts, timber and timber products, helicopter manufacturing, arts, health care service and natural resources exploration.

The Prime Minister later held discussion with Head of the Republic of Buryatia Mr. Aleksey SambuyevichTsydenov and exchange views on accelerating the economic cooperation and export of value-added products from Myanmar.
