


The National Guard continued distributing water and other supplies in Jackson amid the water crisis in Mississippi's capital. Cars lined up to receive the supplies that also included hand sanitizer and non-potable water.
Major General Janson D. Boyles, Mississippi National Guard said "so we've serviced about 20,000 vehicles yesterday. And then we put two packages of water for each family. Some of those vehicles were two, if there were two families in a vehicle we did four."
Water pressure continued to improve in Mississippi's capital city Friday as repairs continued at a long-troubled water plant, but some in the city of 150,000 still had little or no water flowing from taps, officials said.
