Electric Power Industry: Union Minister Addresses Training Completion Ceremony

Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han on Thursday attended the completion ceremony of the 4th sub-power plants construction, operation and maintenance training and engineering management training.

During the ceremony at the central training school in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister urged the trainees to apply what’s learnt in the training at workplace and to develop the Ministry. He also called for efforts uninterrupted supply of electricity, decrease in power losses and stabilization of the power distribution voltage.

After his speech, the Union Minister and officials presented outstanding awards and training completion certificates to the trainees. The 5-week 4th sub-power plants construction, operation and maintenance training and engineering management training covered courses including electrical science, procedures, work processes and management.
