Emerging new generation athletes: Inter-ministry U-25 Men’s Football Tournament 2022

With the aim for uplifting Myanmar’s football standard and health standard of the entire national people and emerging new generation football athletes, the 2022 Inter-ministry U-25 Men’s Football Tournament continued at the Wunna Deikdhi Indoor Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, Deputy Ministers, departmental officials and staff, officials from Myanmar Football Federation and football fans enjoyed the tournament.

As the semi-final of football tournament, the football teams of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs competed at the Wunna Deikdhi Indoor Stadium.

The Ministry of Home Affairs team beat the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs team 5-1 in the semi-final event. On the 30th August, the Ministry of Transport and Communications team will play against the Ministry of Defence team as the 2nd semi-final event at the Wunna Theikdhi Indoor Stadium and anybody who is interested in football can enjoy the event free of charge.
