Construction Works: Renovation, construction tasks in Hlegu & Bago inspected

Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay together with officials looked into maintenance of Pyidaungsu hall (main building) and related buildings as well as greening environs and construction of entrance road in Nyaung Hnapin of Hlegu township on Sunday.

During the inspection, the Union Minister and party inspected the site for the entrance road and the work project, measures for fencing and main gate, greening tasks, renovation of Pyidaungsu hall (main building) and related buildings and completed tasks and gave instructions.

The Union Minister and party then looked into maintenance of Taikkyi-Phu Gyi-Phaung Gyi-Bago road that is essential for linking the eastern and western parts of Bago region and instructed the needs to officials.

On arrival at Pyinnya Yeiktha housing project in Bago, the Union Minister stressed the needs on completion of the tasks within the target time and meeting the set standard and viewed around the buildings.

They then looked into construction of 8-mile and one furlong road that will link underpass in Bago region. The Union Minister urged to implement the tasks systematically as the road design, meet set standard and stockpiling of construction materials to start the tasks in the open season and viewed the condition of axis road.
