


The State Peace Talks Team held a third day meeting with the peace delegations led by Chair of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO Khun Thurein, Chair of the Lahu Democratic Union-LDU Kyar Solomon and Vice-Chair of the Arakan Liberation Party-ALP Saw Mra Razar Lin at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre’s meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.
Union Minister at the Union Government Office Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, who is also a member of the State Administration Council, Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Leader of the State Peace Talks Team, SAC member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, secretary of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Lt-Gen Min Naung, members of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Lt. Gen. Min Naing, Lt. Gen. Win Bo Shein, Lt. Gen. Aye Win and Chair of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO Khun Thurein, Chair of the Lahu Democratic Union-LDU Kyar Solomon and Vice-Chair of the Arakan Liberation Party-ALP Saw Mra Razar Lin and CEC member Khaing Soe Mra took part in the meeting.
During the third day meeting, Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein made detailed explanations on the findings for the Union Accord Part-3, whether the facts are in conformity with the 2008 Constitution and the existing laws as well as the Table-1 and 2 of the Constitution, the Union Legislative List and Region or State Legislative List. Lt-Gen Min Naung also explained on the work processes of 2020 and beyond to be discussed as per the decision made at 9th JICM meeting and work implementations.
The attendees later made the mutual discussion on their stances and desires and concluded the third day meeting. The meeting will be continued on August 26.
