Matriculation Exam In The Old Curriculum: Applications Can Be Submitted Between Sep. 1and 30

The Department of Myanmar Examinations under the Ministry of Education announced that the matriculation exam in the old format and curriculum will be held for the students who failed or did not take the exam in last academic year.

The matriculation exam will be held in coming 2023 and the applications can be submit between 1st and 30th September this year.

Dr.Myo Thant, Director General, Department of Myanmar Examinations said “The application cards have divided 2 colors; green and pink cards for relevant subjects. The principals of basic education high schools, branch high schools, and private high schools will undertake the process of application forms. For the external students, the respective township education offices will undertake applying process.”

The fee of application form is 900 kyats including 700 kyats stamp fee and 200 kyats for the registration form, according to Director-General.

Dr.Myo Thant, Director General, Department of Myanmar Examinations said “Students must fill carefully the correct data of their birth dates, parents’ names and their subjects. The students will not be allowed to take the exam if the data is wrong in their cards. Although we set the deadlines of application, we will extend the deadlines for students who have difficulties to submit the applications from remote areas.”

The application forms and stamps can buy at Head Offices of Department of Myanmar Examinations in Nay Pyi Taw and in the University of Yangon in Hlaing Campus.
