Providing Assistance: Taninthayi Region CM Provided Cash Assistance

The ceremony of providing assistances to the philanthropic homes by the social welfare department for 2022-2023 fiscal year was held at the hall of the home for the aged in Aye Yeik Nyein Ward, Kawt Thoung Township in the afternoon on 23rd August and the Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko attended and provided assistances.

First, the head officer of Kawt Thoung social welfare department clarified the providing assistances for the philanthropic homes.

Next, the Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko handed over 5.292 million Kyats of cash assistance provided by the social welfare department to the one of philanthropic homes, the home for the aged (Kawt Thoung) for the 2022-2023 fiscal year through the In-Charge of home for the aged. 

After extending words of thanks by an older person from the home for the aged and the ceremony was concluded and the chief minister and officials respectfully greeted the older persons and gave words of encouragements, it’s reported.
