Providing cash assistance: Shan State CM provided cash assistance to the elders

The Shan State Government provided cash assistance for the senior citizens resided at the Tachileik District home for the aged in Shan State (East) in the morning on August 22.

The Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun presented one million Kyats donated by the Shan State Government to the older persons resided at the Tachileik District home for the aged and the state minister for social affairs U Aung Myint handed over 2.94 million Kyats provided by the social welfare department of the Ministry of Social welfare, Relief and Resettlement for the older persons and the responsible persons from the committee of the home for the aged.

Then, the chief minister and social affairs minister presented gifts for elders and one older person prayed and sent living-kindness and the chief minister and state ministers encouraged the elders who are receiving medical service rendered by the doctors and nurses from the health department.

Next, the chief minister and party inspected the construction works of building at Mai Yang trade post and gave necessary instructions, it’s reported.
