Rural Development Efforts: Magway Region CM Inspected Regional Development Works

The Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin accompanied by the region minister and region level departmental officials viewed the two acres of long staple model farm to produce the pedigree seeds in Yon Kone Village, Yay Nan Chaung Township in the morning on 21 August, met with the farmers and inspected asphalt laying on PaSaNga-WetGaung Road.

First, the Chief Minister and party viewed the the two acres of long staple model farm to produce the seeds and the officer of township agricultural department clarified the agricultural data of Yay Nan Chaung Township and status of long staple cotton production.

Next, the chief minister met with the local cotton farmers and encouraged to expand the agricultural production. Then, the local farmers submitted the village development matters and the chief minister coordinated necessaries with the relevant departments and provided agricultural inputs for the long staple cotton farmers.

Afterward, the chief minister and party inspected the asphalt laying on PaSaNga-WetGaung Road and the region head officer of the department for the rural road development and official concerned clarified the receiving budget allocation, completing status of asphalt laying and the future work plans. Then, the chief minister gave necessary instructions, it’s reported.
