Federal officials grounded flights because of a "security issue" at San Diego International Airport for about three hours Thursday. The Transportation Security Administration [TSA] said that a traveler took a carry-on that had been identified for additional screening and walked away. When TSA agents couldn't find him, they decided to clear passengers from Terminal 2 West & East so law enforcement could conduct a sweep of the area. The TSA agents began re-screening Terminal 2 passengers and all flights were allowed to resume operations.
