Economic Promotion Fund: Work Plans Discussed For Economic Progress in Kachin State

Kachin State plans to draft a work implementation process for promoting the state economy witht the use of 8 billion kyats funds, disbursed from the State Economic Promotion Fund.
At a coordination meeting, held at the State Government Office on 17th August, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan discussed to use the funds in line with the financial regulations while implementing for boosting production in agriculture and livestock breeding sectors and the work plans under the Emerald Green Project.
He urged all to strive for speedy implementation of the tasks effectively and successfully. It was followed by a general round of discussions by the attendees on draftign the strategic plan, extended implementation of cooperation works, income generation for the rural people, providing investment capital and designating the project period.
