Diplomatic Affairs: Course in Diplomacy for junior officials

Opening Ceremony of the Course in Diplomacy for junior officials, conducted by the Strategic Studies and Training Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was held on Monday afternoon.
On the Occasion at Law Ka Nat Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin delivered the opening address.
Present at the ceremony were Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing, Deputy Minister U Kyaw Myo Htut, Permanent Secretary, Directors-General, Deputy Directors-General and responsible officials of the departments.
The 12-week-course for new recruits covers subjects related to Foreign Policy, Current international relations issues, United Nations and International Laws, Protection of the Myanmar Nationals in abroad, Economic related issues and practical English Proficiency Skills.
The course attended by 34 new junior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is designed for the progress of the various skills of junior diplomats.
