State Meeting On COVID-19: Prevention & Emergency Response Committees Meet

The Kachin State COVID-19 Prevention and Emergency Response Committee on Monday held a coordination meeting with the district/township COVID-19 Prevention and Emergency Response committees.
In the meeting at the state government office in Myitkyina, Chairman of the Kachin State COVID-19 Prevention and Emergency Response Committee State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan said that the new covid-19 variant continue to spread, it is necessary to strictly follow the instructions issued by the Ministry of Health and make efforts to provide full vaccinations and booster doses to the public.
The meeting continued with discussions on such matters as vaccination programme in which Tatmadaw will continue to participate, number of the vaccinated people, the number of new COVID-19 cases in the state and difficulties.
