Region and State Judo Competition: Judo events held at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw

2022 Region and State Judo Competition commenced at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw on 12th August. The competition aims to turn out the new generation athletes and to promote the standard of Judo sports.

The opening ceremony was attended by SAC members Daw Aye Nu Sein, Jeng Phang NawTaung, U Maung Har, U Saw Daniel and Dr Banyar Aung Moe, Union Minister for Sports U Min Thein Zan, deputy ministers and officials as well as the athletes.

The Union Minister urged all athletes to make strenuous efforts for achieving medals for the respective regions and states through competing with sport spirit in friendly manner.

12 men teams and 13 women teams from regions and states are participating in the 2022 Region and State Judo Competition which will be held from 12th to 16th August. Any enthusiasts are invited to enjoy the competition at Wunna Theikdi Stadium (A) free of charge.
