Wildfires rage in Siberia

Russia's emergency ministry has deployed more firefighting aircraft to help tackle wildfires in western Siberia. The two aircrafts have already performed 35 water drops totaling at 579 tons as fires continue raging in the region.

The ministry said it was monitoring the situation around the clock through satellite imaging and air patrols, with more 1,500 people engaged in firefighting operations.
