Daredevils take annual jump from Mostar Old Bridge

Divers delighted a crowd of more than 1,000 people as they braved the plunge from Mostar's historic Old Bridge on Sunday. Spectators cheered on those taking part in the southern Bosnian city's annual competition to leap from the 23-meter-high landmark, a UNESCO World Heritage site, into the cold, fast-flowing Neretva River below.

Organizers say this is the 456th time the contest has been held from the Old Bridge, which was originally built by the Ottomans in 1566. Diver Evald Krnic, from Montenegro, received 10 perfect scores, or 100 points, after two series of jumps by this year's 31 participants.
