Peru celebrates independence with military parade

Peru's President Pedro Castillo presided over the country's military parade celebrating the country's 201st year of independence from Spain. Thousands of members of Peru's armed forces marched past the grandstand where the president stood taking in the spectacle. Peru declared independence from Spain in July 1821.
