Hot weather across the Balkan region Saturday forced people to find ways of keeping cool. In Serbia, the residents of the Belgrade zoo were trying to keep cool -helped by the zoo keepers who were spraying them with water. In Trebinje, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, temperatures reached 42 degrees Saturday.
Wherever they could, residents cooled themselves with water whether it is fountains for rivers. It's not just the Balkans that have been affected by a heat wave this summer, countries across Europe have been experiencing very high temperatures leading to drought and wildfires.
