
The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures.
The Ministry reported 11 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Thursday after testing 5,542 patients within 24 hours. At the time of the report, there’s no patient who died due to the disease while 1 patient has recovered. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 613,532 with 19,434 deaths and 592,516 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.
The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, Italy, Turkey, Spain and Viet Nam according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 6:43pm CEST, 23rd June 2022, there have been over 539 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 6.32 million deaths.
