


Union Minister for Labour U Myint Kyaing, together with the Regional Ministers and officials, visited MoeKaung Treasure Maternal and Child Hospital (BaukHtaw) in Yangon Region on Tuesday. The hospital is providing health care services to the people in cooperation with the Social Security Board under the Ministry.
The Union Minister and party encouraged the patients, receiving treatment at Out-Patient Unit and also viewed the In-Patient Wards, and providing of maternity health care services to the social security insured female workers.
The Social Security Board is providing health care services to the insured workers at 3 labour hospitals, 96 township social security clinics, 1 traditional medicine clinic and 56 departmental clinics in regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. Moreover, in cooperation with the private sector, the services have been provided at 11 clinics through provider purchase split system (PPS), 14 clinics through capitation payment system.
The information of the SSB clinics have been announced on the SSB Website www.ssb.gov.mm as well as the respective township offices of SSB. The Union Minister and party later inspected the Air-Con Maintenance Training in Skill Training Institute (Yankin), and urged the trainees to be excelled in their vocational skills so as to contribute for the welfare of the country and self-interest.
The Union Minister and party later inspected the Sewing Training, being conducted at Moe Moe Family Vocational Training Center in Mingaladon Township and instructed for providing training constantly.
