Training Completion: IRD Conducted Skill Enhancement Training

The Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein addressed the ceremony of completing skill enhancement training for Township revenue officers of Internal Revenue Department held at the department, Nay Pyi Taw on April 1.

Speaking at the ceremony, the union minister said that the officers need to render the service for the taxpayers with the heart avoiding the corruption. In the bid of implementing the internal revenue department as a department met the standards, the high competency and performance of the employees plays the vital role so that the full revenue for the country can be levied. The knowledge dissemination to the taxpayers should be carried out so that they pay the tax with the sense of obligation for the development of the country.

Next, the union minister awarded the first, second and third prizes to the trainee winners and handed over the certificate of completing training course.

The training was conducted for 8 weeks and a total of 79 trainees from the Internal Revenue Department, it’s reported.
