Livestock Sector: Department of Livestock and Aquaculture Research Opening

Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation on Friday opened the Department of Livestock and Aquaculture Research in Zeyarthiri Township. Union Minister U Tin Htut Oo and many other officials ceremonially opened the Department office.

 In his speech, the Union Minister highlighted the State Administration Council’s efforts for agriculture and livestock sector development and importance of research. The Department of Livestock and Aquaculture Research has now had 14 research centers.

The Union Minister also inspected reaping technology department in Yezin area. It’s learnt that plans are underway to open a mechanized agriculture research department.
