Australia to send armoured vehicles to Ukraine

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Friday said Australia will be sending a number of armored vehicles to Ukraine after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed directly to Australian lawmakers for more help.Zelenskyy addressed the Australian Parliament on Thursday and specifically asked for Australian-manufactured Bushmaster four-wheel-drive armored vehicles.Morrison told reporters in Sydney that the vehicles will be flown using C-17 transport planes, but he didn't specify how many will be sent and when.Australia has already promised to provide Ukraine with $68 million in military assistance, $49 million in humanitarian help and 70,000 metric tons of coal.
