Trade Sector Development: MoC Union Minister Meets MRCCI Chairman, Members

Union Minister for Commerce Dr. Pwint San organized a vir­tual meeting with the MRCCI (Mandalay Region Chambers of Commerce and Industry) Chairman, Central Executive Committee members and new Executive Committee members, Monday.

During the meeting, the Union Minister explained the economic policy of the govern­ment and ministry and urged the MRCCI members to work together with private and gov­ernment to develop the trade sector, strengthen the trade association and be close with partner organizations.

The deputy minister, the permanent secretary and di­rectors-general coordinated the discussion. Afterwards, the UMFCCI President explained the cooper­ation works of partner organiza­tions, private and governmental departments and reported on the set-up of the organization, duties and ongoing processes, while other officials presented challenges in the trade sector and their suggestions. The Union minister stressed the necessary things and concluded the meeting.
