Peace Implementation: NSPNC And NCA-Signatories Hold Informal Talks

The National Solidarity and Peace-Making Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) held an informal meeting with the NCA signatory ethnic armed Organizations at the National Reconciliation and Peace Cen­tre in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

The event was attended by State Administration Council member Union Minister at the Union Government Office (1) in his capacity as Chairman of National Solidarity and Peace-making Negotiate Committee Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, committee members, officials of NCA-signatories- Joint General Secretary of ALP (Ar­akan Liberation Party) and Central Committee member, Deputy Head of DKBA and Cen­tral Communication Head, Vice-Chair­man of KNU/KNLA-PC and Central Committee member, Central Execu­tive Committee member of PNLO and committee member, Secretary (1) of RCSS and Central Executive Committee member.

At the meeting, the Chairman of NSPNC Lt-Gen Yar Pyae clarified the invitation of the government to  ethnic armed organizations to peace processes, conflict mitigation, trust building, holding political dialogues, regional peace and stability, development and current situation regarding peace.

The representatives of ethnic armed organizations discussed their opinions on peace process individually. Later, the Chairman of NSPNC discussed the basic requirements for long-lasting peace and future plans. The National Solidarity and Peace Negotiation Committee also held separate talks with ethnic armed organizations which attended the event and discussed implementations for peace and future peace programs, health and regional affairs. After the meeting, the officials gave presents to them.
