Zelenskyy: Ukraine prepared to consider neutrality

Ukraine's president said his country was prepared to consider declaring neutrality and offering Russia security guarantees, including a nuclear-free status.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy told independent Russian news media that Ukraine was "ready to go for" security guarantees and neutrality, and a non-nuclear status.

But, he added that Russian President Vladimir Putin would have to meet him face-to-face in order to find an agreement to end the conflict. "He needs to get out of there on his own feet and come meet with me," Zelenskyy said at the interview.
