Development of Sports Sector: Sports Grounds and Stadiums in Sagaing Region Inspected

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan and party inspected the sports grounds and stadiums in Sagaing Region on Wednesday.  They inspected the upgrading of football stadium in Sagaing District, and instructed to carry out greening and beautifying tasks and proper flow of drainage system.

They also inspected Futsal Stadium and Boxing Ring and gave instructions on long term maintenance of the facilities. They later inspected Sagaing Township Football Ground and gave instructions. They also met with the Chief Minister and Regional Ministers and donated the sports gears.

The Union Minister and party also visited MonYwa Sports stadium, and met with the staff from Sports and Physical Education Department. On the 10th, the Union Minister and party met with the trainees and staff of Sports and Physical Education Institute (MonYwa), They also inspected the classrooms, sports grounds, mess hall and hostels.
