Meeting On Palm Oil: Ministry Of Commerce Focuses On Import, Quality And Price

Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday afternoon held a coordination meeting on palm oil import, quality and price in local market.

In the meeting at the Ministry, Union Minister Dr. Pwint San underscored implementation of the plan to reduce palm oil import and to expand local oil plant plantations. He also highligthed the global rising price of palm oil and that Myanmar reducted the import by 30 percent this year.

Also, the Union Minister streesed the Ministry’s efforts for the stability of palm oil price in the local market. This meeting conituned with discussions on palm oil reserves and import and plans.
