Livestock And Marine Industry: Management Committee Held Meeting In Nay Pyi Taw

Livestock Breeding and Marine Industry Management Committee held its meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on 15th February. Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi discussed that the Ministry is striving for development of production based on agriculture and livestock sector.

He stressed to promote the livestock and marine industry for food sufficiency and promoting export, in cooperation with the related departments and organizations.

Livestock Breeding and Marine Industry Management Committee was formed by the Leading Committee for Farmer Rights Protection and Enhancement of their Benefits, in order to acquire technique, inputs and smooth process for production, to achieve market with reasonable prices and to carry out support works for the livestock breeding and marine industry.
