COVID-19 Update: 112 New Cases Reported at 8 p.m. on 1st of January

The Ministry of Health reported 112 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Saturday after testing 8,315 lab specimens within 24 hours. 4 COVID-19 positive patients have died while 255 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 530,946 with 19,272 deaths and 508,487 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.

The Ministry of Health has given instructions for office/department staff and everyone’s active cooperation in following the COVID-19 preventive measures including reminders of staying safe and healthy during the pandemic.
