Fight Against COVID-19: Daily Imports Of Medical Supplies Continue

For the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures, the Ministry of Commerce is making efforts to ensure people have access to the essential medical supplies including liquid oxygen and oxygen cylinders.

The Ministry is arranging continuous importation on public holidays as well. On the 29th of December, nine tonnes of masks and 20 tonnes of liquid oxygen were imported via Myawaddy and Chinshwehaw trade zones.

It’s learnt that officials from the relevant departments are cooperating to facilitate and expedite the standard operating procedures, including online registration for the import process.
