COVID-19 Fight: Daily Imports of Medical Supplies Continue

For the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures, the Ministry of Commerce is making efforts to ensure people have access to the essential medical supplies including liquid oxygen and oxygen cylinders.

The Ministry is arranging continuous importation on public holidays as well. From the 1st to the 25th of December, a total of 304 tonnes of liquid oxygen, 2 empty oxygen tanks, 2 oxygen distributors, 3 oxygen plants, 581 oxygen concentrators, 1,957 COVID-19 test kits, 15,280 PPE suits, 32 tonnes of gloves and 1,039 tonnes of masks were imported via border trade zones and sea ports.
