New White House dog, Commander, plays on lawn

The Biden family's new dog, a nearly four-month-old German Shepherd puppy named Commander, made his debut Friday before television cameras on the White House lawn.

The dog joined the family earlier this week. At an appearance at a children's hospital, first lady Jill Biden said that Commander ate her slippers.
