Putin Team shop opens at airport in Moscow

President Vladimir Putin's influence on everyday life in Russia spread to fashion on Friday with the launch of the first Putin-branded clothing store in Moscow. The Putin Team store, curated by the federal Ministry of Industries and Trade, opened in the main international airport.

It sells business-casual and athletic wear in the colors of the white blue and red Russian tricolor flag, and bearing the logo "Putin Team Russia".

The general-director of the brand said he had been given the green light to launch the project by the Russian president himself during a government meeting with representatives of the manufacturing industry. The opening ceremony was attended by several Russian officials and famous athletes and musicians.
