Dutch prosecutors lay out indictment in MH17 trial

Family members of victims of the MH17 disaster arrived at court in the Hague Monday to hear prosecutors explaining evidence and their indictment to judges.

It's the continuation of the murder trial of three Russians and a Ukrainian charged with involvement in downing the Malaysia Airlines flight over eastern Ukraine in 2014, killing all 298 passengers and crew.

Prosecutors are scheduled to take three days to walk judges through the indictment at hearings in a top-security courtroom on the outskirts of Schiphol Airport.

An international investigation into the crash concluded that MH17 was brought down by a buk missile that was trucked into Ukraine from a Russian military base. Investigators say the missile launcher then returned to Russia. Moscow denies involvement.
