The largest nativity scene in Bolivia was unveiled Saturday in the mining city of Oruro, about 225 kilometers from La Paz. The installation at the Pesko Ujyana ecological park, featured a baby Jesus measuring almost 3 meters, a 6-meter tall Virgin Mary and a 7-metre Joseph.
Delighted visitors took pictures of the religious statues and celebrated the message of hope it gives ahead of Christmas and in the midst of the coronavirus health crisis. The Christmas nativity crib is a Christian tradition that many set up in their homes and public places in December, to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
