UK Foreign Sec officially opens the G7 meetings

UK Foreign Secretary Liz Truss opened talks between Group of Seven foreign ministers to Liverpool on Saturday. Truss is hosting US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and other G-7 counterparts for weekend talks in the northwest England port city.

The meeting of top diplomats from UK, the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan, together with EU's diplomatic chief Joseph Borrell, also comes as negotiators meet in Vienna to try to revive an ailing international deal on Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
