U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris held talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid in Washington Tuesday.

Lapid met with Harris and other top U.S. officials to detail Israel's position on Iran on a day when Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett called on the United Nations Security Council to take action against Iran over its escalating nuclear program.

Bennett suggested that Iran’s conduct is every nation’s problem, and subject to global accountability. Lapid said other issues including the global climate crisis will be discussed during meetings with US officials.
