US and Ukraine paratroopers in joint training jump

Paratroopers from the US and Ukraine took part in a joint jump on Saturday as the Rapid Trident 2021 military exercises will last until 1 October.

The troops jumped as one unit from the C-130 military transport aircraft, as part of a training mission with the goal of destroying a mock enemy command post. Helicopters were also involved.

More than 6,000 troops from 15 countries, including 150 representatives from the U.S. Armed Forces, are expected to take part in the drills.
