Tens of thousands attend stadium concert in Copenhagen

A Danish rock band played a concert in front of tens of thousands of fans Saturday in Copenhagen. The Minds of 99 performed in front of almost 50,000 people packing the Parken Stadium, a day after the last remaining coronavirus restrictions in Denmark were lifted, with attendees not having to show any proof of vaccination or negative tests.

Denmark's high vaccination rate has enabled the Scandinavian country to become one of the first European Union nations to lift all domestic restrictions. More than 80% of people above the age of 12 have had the two shots. The gig had been cancelled last year and postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic.
