Pope Francis arrived in Bratislava on Sunday as part of his first big international outing since undergoing intestinal surgery in July. He will visit the Lunik IX settlement in Kosice, meet Slovakia's Jewish community and hear the testimony of a Holocaust survivor before he finishes up the visit with a mass on Wednesday in Sastin.

The pope wrapped up his visit to Hungary, after spending the morning holding a mass and meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. The crowded itinerary will be a test of stamina for the 84-year-old pope, following his 10-day stay in hospital in July.
