Torrential rains in central China caused landslides, knocked out power and damaged houses, but no deaths were reported in a region where flooding killed more than 300 people last month, the government said Monday.

Rainstorms triggered flooding and waterlogging in Shaanxi Province over the weekend, inundating many roads and villages with severe disruptions. Local authorities have activated emergency responses and dispatched resume teams to evacuate villagers trapped in the low-lying areas, according to CCTV.
