C-In-C In Russia: Visits To Rosoboronexport Company And OSTANKINO Tower

At the invitation of Army General Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, during their Goodwill visit to Russia, the delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Rosoboronexport Company on Tuesday.

There, the Senior General and members of the delegation viewed a Power Point presentation by Mr. Andrew CHEKMAREW, Assistant Director General of the Company for military technical cooperation matters, raised questions and made discussions.

Also, the delegation led by the Senior General visited OSTANKINO Tower in Moscow and heard explanation by concerned officials and raised questions. Construction of the Tower by Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network began in 1963 and was completed in 1967, and, it was the tallest tower in the world at that time. The tower including antenna is 540 meters tall. OSTANKINO was built to mark the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution.
