Drugs Seizures: Heroin, Stimulant Tablets and ICE Seized in Tachileik

Illegal drugs and pistol were seized in eastern Shan State.

In Tachileik Township of the State, 893.9 kilograms of heroin in the form of blocks, over 1.8 million stimulant tablets, 1.6 kilograms of ICE and 650 grams of heroin in the form of powder worth over 14.366 billion Kyats were seized.

Also, a pistol and 8 bullets, 1.5 million Bahts and 10 vehicles were seized. 2 men were arrested along with the seizure. Investigation is underway and actions have been taken against the suspects in line with the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
